Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company representative.
He or she will introduce you to the 7 Days Congo Lowland and Uganda Gorillas Tour. You then embark on the drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Stopover at the Uganda Equator and step into the northern and southern hemispheres of the earth at the same time.
Upon arrival at the park, check in to your lodge for lunch. You may spend the afternoon at leisure or for a guided nature walk. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Explore the park at length while meeting many wildlife species including giraffes, zebras, leopards, buffaloes, and many antelope species. The park is a haven for birds and reptiles. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go to Lake Mburo for a boat cruise, the cruise will take you to the far ends of the lake and you see many water birds, hippos, and Nile crocodiles. You will also interact with the local members of the communities. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is a famous destination for mountain gorilla trekking tours in Uganda. You will have an en-route lunch. Upon arrival, check in to the lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 4: Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Batwa community tour
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will go on a gorilla trekking tour. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to many primates including white colobus monkeys. Upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa local communities for an amazing cultural tour. these people are one of the ancient dwellers of Africa’s rainforests. They are indigenous hunters and fruit gatherers. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Bukavu
After an early breakfast at about 5:00 am, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Bukavu town in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. You will have stopovers for lunch and relaxation. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lowland gorilla trekking in Kahuzi Biega National Park
This is one of the highlights for the 7 days Congo lowland and Uganda gorillas tour. You will start with a delicious breakfast followed by a transfer to Kahuzi Biega National Park headquarters. You will be briefed and embark on the lowland gorilla trekking adventure. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Take as many photos as you wish but ensure to strictly follow the park rules and regulations. Lunch, dinner, and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Kigali International Airport for departure
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Kigali city for departure. Lunch will be along the way. The driver will drop you off at Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight. This is the end of your amazing 7 days Congo lowland and Uganda gorillas tour.
