Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale National Park
Upon arrival in Uganda at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our professional guide. He or she will brief you about the 8 Days Double Golden Monkey Trekking Uganda and Rwanda Safari. You will embark on the drive to Kibale National Park also known as the Primate Capital of the World. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, report to the park headquarters for briefing, you will start the amazing chimpanzee tour. once you meet the chimp family, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. It will introduce you to animals like elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, antelopes, leopards, and many more. Lunch will be at your lodge before taking on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The channel is a meeting point for many animals, especially during the dry seasons. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 4: Morning game drive in Ishasha and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and take on a game drive in the Ishasha sector.

Upon meeting the golden monkeys, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will go for a cultural tour of the neighboring Batwa communities. Participate in their chores for an amazing experience. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and cross the border to Volcanoes National Park. This is the day for the second session of your golden monkey trekking activity. It starts with a delicious breakfast at your lodge followed by a briefing.
You will be led by professional tour guides through the park. Pass by the mountain gorillas and search for the golden monkeys. Upon meeting the golden monkeys, you will spend one hour in their presence before returning to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Ibyi’wacu Cultural Village and appreciate Rwanda’s cultural heritage and conservation stories. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Kigali city – Departure
