Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will meet our professional driver guide. He will brief you about your 4 days Uganda Gorillas and Golden Monkeys safari. You will then embark on the drive to Volcanoes National Park. Volcanoes National Park is home to almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. The park has 10 habituated mountain gorilla families available for trekking. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and embark on a gorilla trekking adventure. You will start with a briefing at the park headquarters and enjoy an epic adventure. The park is home to many gorillas as well as bird species of different varieties.
Upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour in their presence. Ensure to follow the gorilla trekking rules and regulations in Rwanda. You will spend the night at your lodge in preparation for tomorrow’s activities.

Day 3: Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park
There are no similar two days in Volcanoes National Park. You will start your day with a delicious meal and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing.
You will be led by a professional tour guide on your gorilla trekking safari. Upon meeting golden monkeys, you will spend one hour in their presence. You will also visit the Dian Fossey grave in the Dian Fossey Conservation Center. You will enjoy the stories about the primatologist who dedicated all her life to mountain gorilla conservation. Lunch, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.
