Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Kampala city tour
After your arrival in Uganda, you will meet your driver – guide. He or she will brief you about the 14 days Uganda safari. You will embark on the amazing Kampala city tour. Visit the Kasubi tombs, old Kampala mosque, Bahai temple, the Buganda kingdom palace, and many more. Lunch will be at any hotel in the city. In the evenning, check in to your lodge for diner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Start your day with an amazing breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Uganda’s oldest and largest National Park – Murchison Falls National Park.
You stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. Lunch will be at a hotel in Masindi. Upon arrival, check in to your lode for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
In the morning, start with a delicious breakfast and embark on the game drive. The park is home to the big four animals namely; lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo. You will also encounter multiple animal species as well as birds. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise at River Nile. You will encounter crocodiles, hippos and many bird species. The boat will take you to the bottom of the falls. You will hike to the top of the falls and enjoy scenic views of the world’s strongest waterfalls. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On the 4th day of your 14 days Uganda safari, you will start with an amazing breakfast. Check out of the lodge and start your journey to the primate capital of the world – Kibale National Park. Lunch will be en-route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland tour
After breakfast, report to the park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will enter the forests of Kibale in search of these human-like apes. Upon meeting a chimpanzee family, you will spend one hour in their presence. Enjoy an epic moment with chimps as you watch them play and dine. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will go for a guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetland area. You will get up close with the local members of the community and participate in their activities. The area is a reliable birding area and you will meet many bird species like the Rwenzori turaco, the Abyssinian ground hornbill, nectar suckers, etc.

Day 6: Visit Amabere caves and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Amabere Ga’nyinamwiru caves and the crater lakes area. You will have an en-route lunch and continue to the park. Upon arrival at the park, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular safari destination. Start your day with a delicious breakfast, and embark on a game drive in the Kasenyi sector. Get up close with animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and many bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will embark on the boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. You will meet many animals like crocodiles and hippos. Interact with the local members of the community. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and do a morning game drive in the Ishasha sector. the sector is famous for being home to the rare tree-climbing lions in Uganda. It is an opportunity for you to see a pride of lions hunting down a buffalo.
You will have lunch and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is a famous destination for gorilla trekking in East Africa. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Mountain gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour
This is one of the best days on your 14 days Uganda safari. The day starts with a breakfast followed by a transfer to the park headquarters.
The park is home to almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a community tour. You will enjoy amazing activities like fire-making, traditional dancing, and making crafts. In the evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Explore Lake Bunyonyi
This whole day belongs to Uganda’s deepest lake – Lake Bunyonyi. You start your day with a delicious breakfast and embark on the drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Explore the many islands on the lake as well as local communities. The lake is birding haven and a reliable destination for guided nature walks in Uganda. You will spend the night at your lodge.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
On the 11th day of your 14 days Uganda safari, you will have a nice breakfast at leisure. You will then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Stop at Igongo Cultural Centre and hike to the top of the Eclipse Monument to enjoy scenic views of Mbarara city. Lunch will also be en route. Upon arrival to the park, check in and spend the night over.

Day 12: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
