Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company guide. He or she will brief you about the 8 days Uganda Gorillas and Kenya Wildlife Safari. You will then embark on the drive to the primate capital of the world. Kibale National Park is located in western Uganda and is home to many primate species including chimpanzees and white colobus monkeys. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Tour
After breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters for briefing. Later, you will start the search for these magical species. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park takes approximately 2 to 8 hours including the one hour spent in the presence of the chimps. Seeing chimps in Kibale National Park is guaranteed since you will be escorted by an experienced guide. Lunch will be at your lodge.
In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi Wetland and enjoy views of over 100 bird species. Some of the bird species are migratory and can thus be seen in particular seasons. You will also interact with the local members of the communities. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is located in the southwestern part of Uganda close to the border of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is divided into 4 sectors with 26 mountain gorilla families available for trekking. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mountain gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour
You will start with a morning meal and go to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then go for mountain gorilla trekking in the forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you will spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will take on a tour of the Batwa communities. These are some of the ancient dwellers of Africa’s rainforests. You will take part in their daily activities like fruit gathering and brewing local beer. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve via Entebbe International Airport
After breakfast, you will go to Kihihi Airstrip or Kisoro Airfield for a flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. The charted plane will take you via Entebbe International Airport. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full-day game drives in Masai Mara National Park
Wake up to a delicious starter at your tented camp or lodge and embark on a full-day game drive in the vast Masai Mara plains.
You will encounter millions of wildebeests as they roam the area. An epic adventure happens at the Mara River as these wildebeests cross the river. You will witness the battle between predators and prey. A picnic lunch in the bush will be organized to give you enough time in the wilderness. In the evening, you will return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, you will take a game drive and explore the lake as far as possible. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Morning game drive and transfer to Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on an amazing game drive or birding tour in Lake Nakuru National Park. You will encounter many bird species like the grey-crowned crested crane, pink flamingo, nectar suckers, and woodpeckers, to mention but a few.
The park is also home to many wildlife species that will bless your eyes with spectacular wonders. You will have an en-route lunch and drive to Nairobi City for departure.
